Memory verse: "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105.

Let us take a look at God’s law in Exodus 20:1-17. These are God’s ten commandments.

         1. What is The Law of God?  Romans 7:12, 14. "Wherefore the law is __________, and The commandments ________, and __________, and __________. For we know that the law is __________: but I am carnal, sold unto sin."

         4. How did God proclaim His Law to His people?  Exodus 20:1. "And _______ ________  all these words, saying...” And He goes on and gives them The Law of  God. Read verse 2-18. Also look at Deuteronomy 4:12, 13. "And The Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the _________; ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. And He declared unto you His covenant, which He commanded you to perform, even __________ _____________; and wrote them upon ______    ____________  of _____________."

         5.  What is the principle God is wanting us to learn from His law? Romans 13:10. "Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore ____________ is the fulfilling of the _____________."

         6. If we love God, we will keep the first four commandments. If we love our neighbours, as our self we will keep the last six commandments.  Matthew 22:37-40. Jesus put The 10 Laws into two commandments. Verse 37. "Thou shalt __________  The   __________ thy _________ with _______ thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the _________ and great commandment. And the __________ is like unto it. Thou shalt ________ thy neighbour as thyself. On these _________ commandments hang _______ The ________ and The Prophets."

         7. What is the purpose of the law? Romans 3:20. (Last part) "...For by the   ___________ is the _______________ of ______________.”

         8. What is sin? 1 John 3:4. : "Whosoever commiteth ___________    _____________ also the _________ for sin is the transgression of the law." If we sin we break God’s law.

         9. What does 1 John 2:4 say, to those who claim to be a follower of Jesus, and yet do not keep his law? "He that saith, I know Him, and __________ not His _____________, is a ___________, and the __________ is __________ in Him. “We need to keep the law if we are a true follower of Jesus.

         10. Is The Law of God hard to keep? 1 John 5:3. "For this is the __________ of God, that ______ ________ His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous." They are not hard to keep for God has promised to give us the help we need to keep them, when we ask for help.

         12. What is promised, to those who obey? Isaiah 1:19. "If ye be _________ and ____________, ye shall eat the _________ of the ___________:" We all want to be apart of this promise in Revelation 22:14. I want to go to the city of God don’t you?
